Google Vs Facebook

If you compare it honestly thre are 5 plus point of Google Plus to the Facebook. This may a chalenge for facebook in comming time.

1. Total Product: Google+ has been programmed to support all the required feature at one place. The various services offered are Voice chat, video chat, messaging, Gmail, Maps, Photo Sharing, YouTube. Thus Google will bring all it’s services together in one plateform. While Facebook lack these features. Sharing of Standalone Images in Facebook is not possible while it can be done easily with Google Picasso.
2. 3rd Party Software not required for Google: Recently Facebook has tied up with Skype for video chatting through browser, although it is in the interest of both facebook and Skype. While Google has it’s own technology e.g. Gmail, Google Voice for chatting among members of Google+. Other owned product that help google are Android, Google TV, and Chrome that will make Google + more powerful than Facebook.
3. Money/fund Factor: Google has lot more advantage at this front as it is established long back and it has more funds to invest than Facebook has.
4. No competition : Facebook founder were happy with their product for use it in colleges and universities and it was started as college product initially. Facebook did not have competetion pressure from any social networking biggie at the start. Due to absence of competition in the field at the start of Facebook, it has been experimenting with it’s product without annoyance to it’s users. At present Google+ has come to the same position as it was with the Facebook.
5. Search Engine : Google has big advantage here with Facebook as Google has it’s own Search engine which main source of traffic for everyone. Although Facebook providing social search with the help Bing but it not has much effective. Although, Facebook has some integration with Bing to have Social Search but the results are not as powerful and encouraging as yet which really get Google worried. But a very powerful search feature built into Google+ will certainly give Facebook more problems to deal with.
