My Complete Twitter Tutorial

Twitter is a great tool for marketing your business. I've talked about the important reasons to use this network in the past, but right now let's talk about how to actually get started in this Twitter tutorial.
First, you need to create your user name for your new profile. There is a cap of 15 characters, so you have to keep it under that. Also keep in mind that you'll want to keep your name shorter as opposed to longer so that people can retweet your content without having to alter it which there is a greater chance that they will have to do if your name takes up more characters.
I'll talk more about this in a second, but choose some sort of user name which reflects your site or company. You can also use your own personal name if you would prefer as people like to know that your tweets are coming from a person whom they more easily can identify with.
Also make sure that you take a lot of time in filling out your profile in full. There's not that much to write, so this is not something which you should ignore or put off as you'll see a lot of people check out your profile information before they decide whether or not they want to follow you.
You should include your name, your website's URL, and a brief bio about yourself. Use the bio to talk about your background, experience, and the aim of your website. I teach people how to make money online, so my bio tells a bit about that and how I do that.
Also important is to create a background for your Twitter profile. If you've ever used Twitter before, you know that there are a number of free backgrounds to choose from. You can also purchase premium backgrounds or have someone design one for you.
I recommend getting a customized background for your profile as this looks much more professional and really makes it stand out. You don't have to spend any money because it's very easy to do and you can get exactly what you want from it in doing it yourself.
Once your profile has been filled out in full, it's time to start following someone and earning some followers for yourself. You can do a search based on the kind of things which relate to your business, your website, and your interests.
You should be using these as keywords when you are searching for Twitter users with similar interests because this is what you will be predominantly writing about and tweeting about. A quick search will immediately show you many users who list your keywords somewhere in their profile. Check out a few of these profiles and follow the ones which interests you or you like their tweets of.
